——电子器件制造商必须制定一个全面的数字化战略

回首 2022 年, 在消费电子等下游需求疲软, 疫情对宏观经济造成扰动等背景下,电子行业经历了阵痛期,俄乌战争、通货膨胀、美元加息、逆全球化、半导体的下行周期同影响下,全球电子制造市场受到严峻挑战。 展望 2023 年, 随着中国疫情政策逐步优化,宏观经济有望回暖,消费电子等下游需求有望触底反弹,全球智能工厂行业市场规模扩大。上游努力解决技术限制,中游制造业机会在于宏观经济周期回暖需求回升,加上竞争格局优化以及所带来的周期回暖的机会。下游加工组装行业则受益于创新产品渗透率的提升带动的新一轮成长,进一步提升国产替代渗透率的细分领域:如汽车科技、数字医疗、人工智能、清洁能源、先进封装、LED等。随着国内疫情管控进一步放开,2023年行业必将否极泰来,迎接复苏。近期,我们邀请Keysight是德科技市场开发经理 陈诗凯进行访谈,陈经理谈到:电子器件制造商必须制定一个全面的数字化战略,将先进的分析技术与机器学习技术结合起来,升级现有系统和设备,从而确保制造环境的互操作性和兼容性。

迈入 2023 年,我们的行业面临一系列日益严峻的挑战:经济不确定性导致需求缩减、供应链中断、关税和通货膨胀导致成本上扬,还有原材料供应短缺。这些挑战加快了数字化转型的步伐。在电子制造领域,采用颠覆性技术的势头持续增强。九大关键技术为工业 4.0 奠定了坚实基础。制造商采用越多该关键技术,就越有能力在全球市场保持竞争力。他们需要对制造流程做数字化处理,需要实施先进的自动化来承担劳动密集型任务;另外,采用实时大数据分析来改善决策过程也至关重要。

在工业 4.0 时代,电子器件制造商面临的挑战是如何选择能够为其转型目标提供支持的合作伙伴。要想做出明智的决定,他们应当参考以下标准做出评估。首先,合作伙伴的技术实力要与工业 4.0 原则保持一致。这一点包括所选设备的互连性、解决方案的信息透明度、实时处理能力和技术专家协助。其次,日新月异的市场需求和生产要求需要设备具有良好的适应能力和可重构性。第三,设备必须能与制造生态系统中的其他系统无缝通信并交换数据。第四,网络安全态势应当足够稳健,从而确保数据交换安全。第五,应当制定全面的服务和支持计划,以确保设备顺利运行。最后,设备的成本效益还包括能够在未来需要时升级和更新设备。

电子制造业的下一个突破是实现更大的可持续性。客户对环保产品和解决方案的需求不断增长,这也对生产工艺和操作提出了可持续性要求。智慧工厂就是一个很好的例子。智慧工厂的自动化和数据驱动程度比较高,因而允许实时监控生产流程,并且能提高效率、降低废弃物对环境的影响。随着人工智能和物联网等数据驱动技术逐步普及,制造商有能力实时管理和分析大量数据。

As we step into 2023, reduced demand due to economic uncertainty, supply chain disruptions, rising costs due to tariffs and inflation, and difficulties in securing raw materials are some of the increasing challenges to our industry today. These challenges accelerated the digital transformation. In the electronics manufacturing sector, the adoption of disruptive technology continues to gain momentum. Industry 4.0 is built on 9 key technology pillars. Manufacturers that adopt as many of these technologies will be better positioned to remain competitive in the global marketplace. Digitalization of manufacturing processes, implementation of advanced automation to take up labor-intensive tasks, and embracing real-time big data analytics is essential to improve the decision-making process.

In the era of Industry 4.0, electronics manufacturers face the challenge of selecting partners that can support their transformation goals. To make an informed decision, the following criteria should be evaluated. Firstly, the technology portfolio of the partner should align with Industry 4.0 principles. This includes interconnectivity of the equipment of choice, information transparency of the solution, real-time capability, and technical expert assistance. Secondly, the equipment’s adaptability and reconfigurability are crucial to meet evolving market needs and production requirements. Thirdly, the equipment must seamlessly communicate and exchange data with other systems in the manufacturing ecosystem. Fourthly, the cybersecurity posture should be robust to secure data exchange. Fifthly, comprehensiveness of service and support program to ensure smooth equipment operation. Finally, the cost-effectiveness of the equipment includes upgradability and updatability of the equipment when the need arises in the future. 

The next breakthrough in the electronics manufacturing industry is going to be achieving greater sustainability. The growing demand for environmentally friendly products and solutions will drive a need for greater sustainability in the production processes and practices. The smart factory is a great example. Smart factories are highly automated and data-driven, allowing for real-time monitoring and control of production processes, leading to improved efficiency and reduced waste to the environment. With the increased use of data-driven technologies, such as AI and IoT, manufacturers have the ability to manage and analyze large amounts of data in real time. 

In summary,electronics manufacturers must develop a comprehensive digitalization strategy by incorporating advanced analytics and machine learning technologies and upgrading existing systems and equipment to ensure interoperability and compatibility in the manufacturing environment. Achieving intelligent transformation and improving the interconnection and data collection of various devices is the key to leading to greater efficiency, visibility, and flexibility in manufacturing.
